Not Just My Imagination!

The mild winter has been a sweet deviation from last year.  I swear I smelled the lilacs when I was outside at lunch time.  This is usually an indication of Spring in Minnesota, but it's only January 31!  Could it be my imagination?  Whatever it is, I like it!

Mommy and Daddy got the pictures back from their trip.  It looks like they had a great time and saw many places.  I liked the Cable Cars, they look like fun!

At 44 degrees, it was warmer here today then it was in San Francisco when they were there.  It wasn't as cold as the 2 day cold spell we had though!  Mommy and Daddy thought it was funny seeing people in long winter coats and hats when they were in Spring jackets.  The weather has been weird all over the country!

On the news they are calling this month "Juneuary!"  It's because of something called La Nina.  I say fabulous!

Back To Normal

We are back to our regular routine now.  Things were a little crazy since the last time I wrote.  Mommy and Daddy went to a place far away.  And then they came back.  A nice woman named Pat stayed with Boomer! and me.  It got really cold and it finally snowed.

Mommy and Daddy were in a plane that took them to a place without snow.  Everyone there thought it was cold, but it was lots warmer then in Minnesota.  They said there were many tall buildings, long bridges and a huge lake.  They had lots of fun and were very tired when they came home.  Boomer! and I were tired too.  We were supposed to participate in a book fair on Saturday, but slept right through it.  Oops!  Mommy and Daddy got a new blue tote bag.  We will use it when we go to our programs.  I finally got my hair cut.  I was very shaggy.  Long hair was nice for the frigid temps lately, but it covered my eyes completely!

Now it's time to work on the Rudy O'Tooty book launch coming up in March.  Back to work!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Mommy and Daddy are leaving for their trip tomorrow.  Boomer! and I are staying home with a nice woman named Pat.  She loves puppies.

I'm a little worried because it is so cold outside.  That means very little playing in the backyard.  We will have to run up and down the stairs to get our exercise.

I already told Boomer! we should be good boys so Mommy doesn't worry about us.  I will have to wait to write you about our adventures until Mommy and Daddy get back.  I don't know how to turn on the computer.

Have a fun week!

Love,
Rudy (I'd rather be a Hot Poodle then a Chili Dog!)

Blue Skies and Anticipation

The weather is fabulous!  The average temperature is 30 degrees higher than normal and still no snow!  We've had blue skies and sunny days.  Unbelievable!

The proofs for our new book should be done Wednesday.  If all looks right, then it will be in the processing cycle!  It's very exciting!  We can hardly wait until tomorrow.

Mommy and Daddy are getting ready for their trip.  A nice woman who will be taking care of Boomer! and me will visit later this week.  She can learn our daily schedule.  Boomer! is going to show her his Frisbee.  I will share Hippy and Elton, my stuffed toys.

I am very good at taking my pills, because it always leads to a treat!  I think it will be fun.  Mommy always worries about us, but I think that's because she is a mommy and can't help it.

We are participating in a book fair on Jan. 21, so we won't be slowing down for a while.  It's thrilling!  We like keeping busy.  Of course we have plenty of cuddle time too!

2012 New Year Wish

Happy New Year!  I stayed up late last night to watch people all around the world celebrate the new year.  Everyone was very excited!

I hope 2012 is better, I know 2011 was a tough one for many.  My wish for all this year is happiness.
It is good to be motivated and achieve your goals, but don't forget to take pleasure and enjoy where you are right now.  When you can enjoy the little things of everyday life, it can make the big events seem even better!

My tip for this month and all of 2012 - keep it simple, stay motivated, be happy!
All my best,
Rudy
